AWARDS / SCHOLARSHIPS
Awards
The following awards are sponsored by alumni and presented to deserving students at the Student Awards Banquet held annually in April (for date and place click here):

Benjamin J. Cummings, Jr. Award
Mr. Cummings, class of 1960, gives Two-Hundred Dollars to a third year student in Construction Science and Management who has shown the most improvement.


Milton Love Award
Mr. Clarence Cross of Dayton Ohio, class of 1949, awards One-Hundred Dollars in memory of his former instructor to the fourth year student showing the most potential in the field of Architecture.


The Reese-Armstrong Award
A Twenty-Five Dollar award given to each student who demonstrates a tremendous amount of improvement in freshman architecture studio. This award is given in appreciation of the students who continue to strive academically in the Pre-Architecture program.


Architecture Design Prize
Mr. Clarence Cross, class of 1949, AIA Emeritus, Architect from Dayton, Ohio, gives a first prize of One-Hundred Fifty Dollars, a second prizes of One-Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars, a third prize of One-Hundred Dollars, and a fourth prize of Seventy-Five Dollars to the top four most worthy students in design as recommended by the department of Architecture faculty. 


John A. Welch Award
Mr. Welch, a former Dean, awards two (2) students, One-Hundred Dollars, who have completed at least four semesters in their major, have the highest cumulative grade point average and who shows exemplary personal qualities.
