Since 1997 Mr. Archie has been employed by Clark Enterprises of Bethesda, Maryland. Currently he serves as Senior Project Executive on the $300 million Ft. Benning Family Housing Project in Ft. Benning, Georgia. Drawing on over 25 years of construction experience, Mr. Archie oversees the Project Management Staff, consisting of Project Managers and Project Engineers, as well as the management of subcontractors, submittal process, material tracking, issues resolution, and other related topics. He is also responsible for: coordinating project activities with the superintendents and field staff; overall project coordination and management with Construction Executive and Superintendents; maintaining the progress of the project schedule; managing all aspects of the overall project budget; emphasizing, encouraging and enforcing the quality and safety plan. Mr. Archie’s experience and proven track record insures skillful project management.

Mr. Archie initially enrolled at Tuskegee Institute (now Tuskegee University) in the fall of 1980 in the Building Technology program (now Construction Science Management). Due to financial hardships and the lure of income from the construction industry, he left Tuskegee after the 82’-83’ school year. While away from school, Mr. Archie worked for a variety of construction firms, some of which includes: Algernon Blair/Castle, Harbert International, W.M Marable Construction, H.J. Russell & Company, and Thomas Construction & Masonry. The experiences gained from working for both small and large firms, in addition to the U.S. Forest Service, provided Mr. Archie with great insight into different project scales and management styles.
